1. WHAT THE PROGRAM IS
A funding program that, after approval in a selection process, allows the applicant to apply for a scholarship sponsored by ABQUALIS for a Master's or Doctoral degree at partner international institutions.
2. TWO-PHASE ACADEMIC MODEL AND COURSE LOAD
PHASE 1 - NATIONAL / PREPARATORY - 6 MONTHS
a) Course load of 360 hours, matching the minimum legal course load of a Lato Sensu postgraduate program in Brazil;
b) Taught by a Brazilian Higher Education Institution accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC), a partner of the program, to be defined AFTER the scholarship is granted, according to the applicant's area of interest;
c) In this phase the core subjects are taught and your research pre-project is prepared, with mandatory submission to Plataforma Brasil for review by the Research Ethics Committee, when applicable;
d) At the end, with the minimum required performance, a Lato Sensu Postgraduate Certificate is issued by the Brazilian institution.
PHASE 2 - INTERNATIONAL - MASTER'S / DOCTORATE
a) CONDITION FOR DEFINING THE FOREIGN INSTITUTION: Which foreign institution the applicant will be transferred to depends exclusively on APPROVAL in Phase 1. In other words, the partner foreign institution is only defined after approval in the Lato Sensu postgraduate program and approval of your research pre-project by Plataforma Brasil / the Ethics Committee;
b) After this approval, the 360 hours completed will be transferred as credits to the defined foreign institution, where they will be supplemented to complete the curriculum, totaling 600 hours for the Master's and 900 hours for the Doctorate;
c) It is in this Phase 2 that you will complete and defend your International Master's or Doctorate.
3. FINANCIAL MODEL AND SCHOLARSHIP
a) THE SCHOLARSHIP COVERS THE ENTIRE PATH: The ABQUALIS-sponsored scholarship of up to 50% of the monthly fee extends over THE ENTIRE TRAINING PATH, from the first to the last month, covering Phase 1 and Phase 2;
b) SEPARATE PAYMENTS: Phase 1 amounts are paid DIRECTLY to the account of the defined Brazilian institution; Phase 2 amounts are paid DIRECTLY to the defined foreign institution;
c) The granting and the final percentage of the scholarship are the exclusive responsibility of the foreign institution and ABQUALIS.
4. FINAL DECLARATION
I declare that I understand that: a) The foreign institution will only be defined after my approval in the 360-hour postgraduate program in Brazil and approval of the pre-project on Plataforma Brasil; b) The 360 hours will be transferred to complete 600/900 hours; c) The scholarship of up to 50% applies from the first to the last month.
