The 2 phases
From Brazil to your international Master's or Doctorate, in two phases
-
Phase 1 · National, 6 months
A 360-hour Lato Sensu postgraduate program at a Brazilian higher education institution accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC), defined after the scholarship is granted according to your area. You take the core subjects and prepare your research pre-project, submitted to Plataforma Brasil when applicable.
-
Phase 2 · International
Once Phase 1 and the pre-project are approved, the partner foreign institution is defined. The 360 hours are transferred as credits and supplemented up to 600 hours for the Master's or 900 hours for the Doctorate, where you complete and defend your international degree.
The foreign institution is only defined after approval in Phase 1 in Brazil and approval of the pre-project on Plataforma Brasil.

- Valid from the first to the last month, in both phases of the program.
- The granting and the final percentage are decided by the foreign institution and ABQUALIS.
- Separate payments: Phase 1 directly to the Brazilian institution and Phase 2 directly to the foreign institution.
